To avoid any late fees and ensure uninterrupted service, please remember that water and sewer bills are now due on the 15th of each month.

The town's new sewer and water rates will take effect with the December 2024 billing cycle. Below is a breakdown of the latest rates.

**Water Rate**  
There is a monthly basic fee of $22.00, plus a usage charge based on the following rates (per 1,000 gallons):  
        - For the first 4,000 gallons: $3.75  
        - From 4,001 to 8,000 gallons: $5.50  
        - From 8,001 to 12,000 gallons: $8.75  

Saturday, October 5th starting at 7 am & will run until dumpsters are full.  **Scrap metal service is available starting at 8 am.  2nd Ave & Elm St

Unacceptable roll-off items:  electronics (TVs-computers-monitors), hazardous materials (oil-paint-antifreeze), freezers, refrigerators, & window ac units.

Unacceptable scrap metal service items:  computer monitors, tires, & TVs.
 

A work session will be held for The Town of Deer Trail on September 18, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.. Deer Trail Town Hall, 555 2nd Ave, Deer Trail, with DRCOG Regional Grant Navigator, Paul Jesaitis.

Town Hall will be closed Monday, September 2, 2024, for Labor Day.  We will reopen Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

Town Hall will perform a test of our tornado siren on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at noon.

The Town of Deer Trail will hold a “Meet the Candidates Night." All candidates have been invited: Brandon Rowley, Ashley Buss, John Kettling, Sandford Bell, Mary Arnold, Dashelle Guertin, Robert Rhodes, Kasey Bennett, Dara Sanders, and Phillip Steel. 

The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, in the auditorium of Deer Trail School: 130 S. 2nd Ave, Deer Trail, CO 80105. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

The Town of Deer Trail will have a Work Session with the Colorado Department of Revenue on Tuesday, January 16, 2023, starting at 9:00 am.

This serves as public notice that three or more trustees may be present at the same time during this meeting.
