Deer Trail Pioneer Historical Museum

The Deer Trail Pioneer Historical Society was founded in 1969. In that year, the Union Pacific Railroad donated the Deer Trail Railroad Depot to the Historical Society for a museum and it was moved to its present site at Second Ave and Fir Street. Since that time a new building was built and a log house and a one room school house have also been moved to the museum grounds. All four buildings contain the thousands of locally donated items on exhibit.

The Historical Society is a non-profit organization operating solely on donations, fund raising projects, and is operated by volunteers. The museum is open from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM every Saturday in June, July, and August. You can also call Äì 303-769-4542 to schedule an appointment.
