A resolution adopting a final budget and summarizing revenues and expenditures for each fund for the Town of Deer Trail Colorado during the calendar year beginning January 1, 2000, and ending December 31, 2000.
Whereas, the Deer Trail Town Board of Trustees appointed Town Clerk/Treasurer Jessica E. Stoumbaugh as the Budget Officer in accordance with C.R.S. 29-1-105 to prepare and submit a proposed budget for the year 2000 to said governing body at the proper time; and,
Whereas, Jessica E. Stoumbaugh submitted a proposed budget to this governing body on October 5, 1999, for its consideration; and,
Whereas, upon due and proper notice, published and posted in accordance with C.R.S. 29-1-108, said proposed budget was open for inspection by the public at the Town Hall as a designated public location, and a public hearing for general comments on the proposed budget was held at the regular meeting of the Deer Trail Town Board of Trustees on December 7, 1999, and interested electors were given the opportunity to file and/or register any objections to said proposed budget before its final adoption; and,
Whereas, whatever necessary increases and/or decreases have been made in the expenditures, like increases and/or decreases were added to the revenues in order that the 2000 final budget remains in balance as required by law.
Now therefore be it resolved by the Deer Trail Colorado Town Board of Trustees:
Section 1.
That the estimated expenditures for each fund are as follows:
General Fund: $80,795
Water & Sewer Fund: $93,195
Conservation Trust Fund: $6,350
Total Expenditures: $180,340
Section 2.
That the estimated revenues for each fund are as follows:
General Fund
From general property tax: $29,958
From other sources: $62,065
Total Resources: $92,023
Water & Sewer Fund
From general property tax: $0
From other sources: $110,400
Total Resources: $110,400
Conservation Trust Fund
From general property tax: $0
From other sources: $6,500
Total Resources: $6,500
Section 3.
That the budget as submitted, amended, and hereinabove summarized by each fund is hereby approved and adopted as the final budget for the Town of Deer Trail for the 2000 calendar year.
Section 4.
That the final 2000 budget hereby approved and adopted by the Deer Trail Town Board of Trustees shall be signed by each board member and made a part of the public records of the Town of Deer Trail.
