A resolution adopting a final budget and summarizing revenues and expenditures for each fund for the Town of Deer Trail Colorado during the calendar year beginning January 1, 1998, and ending December 31, 1998.
Whereas, the Deer Trail Town Board of Trustees appointed Town Clerk/Treasurer Jessica Stoumbaugh as the Budget Officer in accordance with C.R.S. 29-1-105 to prepare and submit a proposed budget for the year 1998 to said governing body at the proper time; and,
Whereas, Jessica Stoumbaugh submitted a proposed budget to this governing body on 15 October 1997 for its consideration; and,
Whereas, upon due and proper notice, published and posted in accordance with C.R.S. 29-1-108, said proposed budget was open for inspection by the public at the Town Hall as a designated public location, and a public hearing for general comments on the proposed budget was held at the regular meeting of the Deer Trail Town Board of Trustees on 4 November 1997, and interested electors were given the opportunity to file and/or register any objections to said proposed budget before its final adoption; and,
Whereas, whatever necessary increases and/or decreases have been made in the expenditures, like increases and/or decreases were added to the revenues in order that the 1998 final budget remains in balance as required by law.
Now therefore be it resolved by the Deer Trail Colorado Town Board of Trustees:
Section 1.
That the estimated expenditures for each fund are as follows:
General Fund $103,318
Water & Sewer Fund $115,335
Conservation Trust Fund $9,653
Capital Projects Fund $10,208
Debt Service Fund $-0-
Total Expenditures $241,364

That the estimated revenues for each fund are as follows:

Section 3.
That the budget as submitted, amended, and hereinabove summarized by each fund is hereby approved and adopted as the final budget for the Town of Deer Trail for the 1998 calendar year.
Section 4.
That the final 1998 budget hereby approved and adopted by the Deer Trail Town Board of Trustees shall be signed by each board member and made a part of the public records of the Town of Deer Trail.
