Resolution to exclude the Deer Trail Housing Authority Commissioners from Workers Compensation Coverage for the 1997 Insurance year.
Whereas, C.R.S. Section 8-40-202(1)(A)(1)(B) provides the Town of Deer Trail with an option to exclude from workers' compensation insurance coverage uncompensated elected or appointed officials, and
Whereas, the Deer Trail Town Board of Trustees deems it appropriate that the Deer Trail Housing Authority Commissioners, uncompensated appointed officials, are hereby excluded from workers' compensation insurance coverage for the policy year 1997, and
Whereas, notification of this action will be given to the Housing Authority Commissioners by letter and
notification to the Colorado Division of Workers' Compensation will be given by the forwarded "Exclusion of Uncompensated Public Officials" statement and this Resolution.
Now therefore be it resolved by the Deer Trail Colorado Town Board of Trustees that the Deer Trail Housing Authority Commissioners be excluded from 1997 workers' compensation coverage:
