Resolution Number 89-02

A resolution levying general property taxes for the year 1989, to help defray the costs of government for the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado, for the 1989 budget year.

Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail has adopted the annual budget in accordance with the Local Government Budget Law, on November 1, 1988, and; 

Whereas, the amount of money necessary to balance the budget for general operating expenses is $20,013, and; 

Whereas, the 1988 valuation for assessment for the Town of Deer Trail as certified by the County Assessor is $a,028,610.

Now therefore be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado:

Section 1.

That the purpose of meeting all general operating expenses of the Town of Deer Trail during the 1989 budget year, there is hereby levied a tax of 9.865 mills upon each dollar of the total valuation for assessment of all taxable property within the Town for the year 1989.

Section 2. 

That the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to immediately certify to the County Commissioners of Arapahoe County, Colorado, the mill levies for the Town of Deer Trail as hereinabove determined and set.
