A resolution approving an intergovernmental agreement with Arapahoe County.
Whereas, the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado, hereinafter referred to as the "Town" wishes to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with Arapahoe County, hereinafter referred to as the "County regarding participation in the County's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and the Home Investment Partnership (HOME) Program for the years 2019, 2020, 2021.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado:
Section 1.
The intergovernmental agreement between the Town and the County regarding participation in the County's CDBG and HOME Partnership Programs is hereby approved in essentially the same form as the copy of such agreement accompanying this resolution.
Section 2
The mayor is hereby granted the authority to approve such revisions to said agreement as the mayor determines are necessary or desirable for the protection of the Town, so long as the essential terms and conditions of the agreement are not altered.
Section 3
This resolution to be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
