Resolution Number 15-07

to set Mill Levies 

A resolution leving general property taxes for the year 2015, to aid in the operation of and help defray the costs of government for the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado for the 2016 budget year. 

Whereas, the Deer Trail Town Board of Trustees has adopted the annual budget in accordance with the Local Government Budget law on December 1, 2015; and,

Whereas, the amount of money necessary to balance the budget for general operating purposes from property tax revenue is $52,077; and 

Whereas, the 2015 valuation for assessment for the Town of Deer Trail as certified by the County Assessor is $3568,052.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Deer Trail Colorado Town Board of Trustees: 

Section 1 

That for the purpose of meeting all general operating expenses of the Town of Deer Trail during the 2016 Budget Year, there is hereby levied a tax of 14.595 mills upon each dollar of the total valuation for assessment of all taxable property within the Town for the year 2015.

Section 1

The Town Clerk/treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to immediately certify to the County Commissioners of Arapahoe County, Colorado, the mill levies for the Town of Deer Trail as herein above determined and set.
