Resolution Number 14-16

to set Mill Levies

A resolution levying general property taxes for the year 2015 to aid in the operation of and help defray the costs of government for the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado for the e2015 budget year.

Whereas, the Deer Trail Town Board of Trustees has adopted the annual budget in accordance with the Local Government Budget law on December 15, 2014; and,

Whereas, the amount of money necessary to balance the budget for general operating purposes from property tax revenue is $47,361; and

Whereas, the 2014 valuation for assessment for the Town of Deer Trail as certified by the County Assessor is $2,768,973.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado Town Board of Trustees:

Section 1.

That for the purpose of meeting all general operating expenses of the Town of Deer Trail during the 2015 Budget Year, there is hereby levied a tax of 17.104 mills upon each dollar of the total valuation for assessment of all taxable property within the Town for the year 2015.

Section 1 

The Town Clerk/treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to immediately certify to the County Commissioners of Arapahoe County, Colorado, the mill levies for the Town of Deer Trail as herein above determined and set.
