Resolution Number 13-04

To Permit application for septic system a resolution to authorize a resident to apply for a septic system within the sanatory district operation in town limits of the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado 

Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail recognize that a property owners land lies within the water and sewer system boundaries of the town of Deer Trail, and

Whereas, such property is more than 750 feet from an accessible sewer main, and

Whereas, the distance of and access to said sewer main are cost prohibitive and counterproductive to traffic conditions existing in the area, and

Whereas, property owner requires sanitary service to render their land habitable.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Town Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado:

Section 1. 

The resident is granted permission to contract with Tri-County Health in an effort to obtain permit for and construct a septic system on their property providing engineering direction and valid tests and inspections are performed to the requirements of the Tri County Health Department of Adams, Arapahoe, and Douglas Counties.

Section 2. 

That if said property fails to pass all requirements for installation of a septic system then property owners will not be allowed to construct without connection to town sanitary system.
