A resolution authorizing the Town Clerk to appoint election Judges for Deer Trails regular municipal election to be held on Tuesday April 3, 2012, and establishing a rate of pay.
Whereas, Colorado Revised Statute 31-10-401 requires the governing body of the Municipality, or the Town Clerk if so, designated by the governing body, to appoint Judges of the Election at least 15 days prior to Election Day; and
Whereas, Colorado Revised Statute 31-10-408 establishes that Election Judges will be paid not less than five dollars for their services during the Election. The amount to be determined by the governing body of the Municipality; and
Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail is the governing body for the Municipality.
Now, therefore be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado that:
Section 1.
The Town Clerk is hereby authorized to appoint the Election Judges for the Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 Deer Trail Regular Municipal Election, in accordance with the Colorado Revised Statutes. The appointed Judges will each receive $100.00 dollars for their services.
