A resolution appropriating additional sums of money to defray expenses in excel of amounts budgeted for the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado
Whereas, expenses in the General Fund exceeded the budgeted amount for 2008 because of a paving project and a rodeo grounds improvement project; and
Whereas, expenses in the Open Space Fund exceeded the budgeted amount for 2008 because of a rodeo grounds improvement project; and
Whereas, these contingencies could not be foreseen at the time of the adoption of the 2008 budget; and
Whereas, the money is available through excess revenues from Community Development Block Grant Funds, Great Outdoors Colorado Funds, General Fund Reserve Funds, and Open Space Fund.
Now therefore be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado:
Section 1.
That the 2008 appropriation for the General Fund is hereby increased from $112,869 to $256,419 for the following purpose:
- Community Development Block Grant paving project, $59,450.
- Great Outdoors Colorado rodeo grounds improvement project, $77,100.
- Community Development Block Grant funds retainage and shortfall, $7,000.
Section 2.
That the sum of $143,550 is hereby transferred from the unappropriated surpluses if the General Fund to the General Fund.
Section 3.
That the 2008 appropriation for the Open Space Fund is hereby increased from $12,263 to $41,240 for the following purpose:
- Rodeo grounds improvement project.
Section 4.
That the sum of $28,977 is hereby transferred from the unappropriated surpluses of the Open Space Fund to the Open Space Fund.
