A resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail, Arapahoe County, Colorado approving two contracts with Urea and authorizing the execution of the contracts.
Whereas, the Town of Deer Trail, hereinafter referred to as the "Town," in the County of Arapahoe, and State of Colorado, is the body corporate operating as a Town pursuant to the general statutes of the State of Colorado; and
Whereas, Colorado Revised Statutes 31-15-101(c), as amended statutorily, empowers the Town to enter into contracts; and
Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail has considered all terms and conditions of the proposed Contracts as submitted by IREA, relative to the Town of Deer Trail Wastewater Treatment Plant and Lift Station projects; and
Whereas, the Town wishes to enter into the Contracts and believes that it is in the best interest of the citizens of the Town of Deer Trail.
Now therefore be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail Colorado:
Section 1.
The IREA Contracts for electric service at the lift station and wastewater treatment plant are hereby approved.
Section 2.
The Mayor of the Town is hereby authorized to execute the Contracts between IKEA and the Town of Deer Trail.
Section 3
This Resolution is to be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
Section 4.
If any portion or provision of this Resolution shall for any reason be held to be invalid or unenforceable, the invalidity or enforceability of such portion or provision shall not affect any of the remaining provisions of this Resolution, the intention being that the same are severable.
