A resolution approving a third amendment to an intergovernmental agreement with Arapahoe County
Whereas, the Town and Arapahoe County entered into an intergovernmental agreement regarding participation in the County's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and the HOME Partnership Program on July 26, 1994; and
Whereas, the Town wishes to extend the intergovernmental agreement and its participation in the CDBG and HOME Programs for the grant years 2004, 2005 and 2006.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado:
Section 1.
The third amendment to the intergovernmental agreement between the Town and Arapahoe County regarding participation in the County's CDBG and HOME Partnership Programs is hereby approved in essentially the same form as the copy of such agreement accompanying this resolution.
Section 2.
The mayor is hereby granted the authority to approve such revisions to said agreement as the mayor determines are necessary or desirable for the protection of the Town, so long as the essential terms and conditions of the agreement are not altered.
