Resolution to adopt the 2001 Budget
A resolution adopting a final budget and summarizing revenues and expenditures for each fund for the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado, during the calendar year beginning January 1, 2001, and ending December 31, 2001.
Whereas, the Deer Trail Town Board of Trustees appointed Town Cleric/Treasurer Patti K. Owens as the Budget Officer in accordance with C.R.S. 29-1-105 to prepare and submit a proposed budget for the year 2001 to said governing body at the proper time; and,
Whereas, Patti K. Owens submitted a proposed budget to this governing body on October 15, 2000, for its consideration, and,
Whereas, upon due and proper notice, published and posted in accordance with C.R.S. 29-1-108, said proposed budget was open for inspection by the public at the Town Flail as a designated public location, and a public hearing for general comments on the proposed budget was held at the regular meeting of the Deer Trail Town Board of Trustees on December 5, 2000, and interested electors were given the opportunity to file and/or register any objections to said proposed budget before its final adoption; and,
Whereas, whatever necessary increases and/or decreases have been made in the expenditures, like increases and/or
decreases were added to the revenues in order that the 2001 final budget remains in balance as required by law.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Deer Trail, Colorado Town of Deer Trail, Colorado, Town Board of Trustees.:
Section 1.
That the estimated expenditures for each fund are as follows:
General Fund: $88,640
Water Fund: $81,000
Sewer Fund: $36,175
Conservation Trust Fund: $4,550
Total Expenditures: $210,365
Section 2.
That the estimated revenues for each fund are as follows:
General Fund
From general property tax: $31,644
From other sources: $61,297
Total Revenues: $92,941
Water Fund
From general property tax: $0
From other sources: $81,000
Total Resources: $81,000
Sewer Fund
From general property tax: $0
From other sources: $46,700
Total Resources: $46,700
Conservation Trust Fund

From other sources: $6,550
Total Resources: $6,650
Section 3.
That the budget as submitted, amended, and hereinabove summarized by each fund is hereby approved and adopted as the final budget for the Town of Deer Trail for the 2001 calendar year.
Section 4.
That the final 2001 budget hereby approved and adopted by the Deer Trail Town Board of Trustees shall be signed by each board member and made a part of the public records of the Town of Deer Trail.
