An Ordinance providing for compensation of the Town of Deer Trail Municipal Court Judge.
Be it ordained by the Board of Trustees for the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado that.
Section 1.
Pursuant to Section 13 of Ordinance No. 258, Series of 2018, the Board of Trustees hereby sets the salary of the Municipal Judge as follows:
- For calendar year 2022, at the fixed amount of $2,500, which shall be payable at the rate of $500 every other month beginning in April 2022. In the event there are more than five (5) sessions of Municipal Court in calendar year 2022, the Municipal Judge shall be paid an additional $500 per court session; and
- For calendar year 2021, subject to budget and appropriation in the 2021 budget, at the fixed amount of $3,000, which shall be payable at the rate of $500 every other month beginning in February 2021. In the event there are more than six (6) sessions of Municipal Court in calendar year 2021, the Municipal Judge shall be paid an additional $500 per court session.
Section 2 Repealer.
All acts, orders, resolutions, ordinances, or parts thereof, of the Town that are inconsistent or in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent only of such inconsistency or conflict.
Section 3. Recording and Authentication.
Immediately upon its passage, this Ordinance shall be recorded in the Town of Deer Trail Book of Ordinances kept for that purpose, authenticated by the signatures of the Mayor and Clerk, shall be published as required by law.
Section 4. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after final publication but shall be retroactive to April l, 2021.
