An Ordinance to amend Specific Sections of Ordinance No. 120, Deer Trail Town Code, May 30, A. D. 1967, relating to Water and Sewer Connection Fees, Permits, Rates, Collection and Enforcements, and adding provisions for charges for standby Ready-to-Serve Charges and controlled use of Fire Hydrants.
Section I
A permit is required before any person or persons may - Uncover, make connections to, open into, alter or disturb any water or sewer main inside Town Limits. The valves on water mains for service to properties in other areas shall not be turned off or on by any other than an authorized agent of the Town or by Town personnel or members of the Fire Department in an official capacity. All services shall be of type and size in compliance with specifications prescribed by the Town Council.
Section II
Permits for tapping and inspection fees to be paid in advance. Service to be applied for at the Town Hall. Permit fees, tapping fees, and inspection foes must be paid in advance. An application for Water and/or Sewer Service to properties shall be applied for in the manner prescribed by the Town Council. Said Application for service shall establish and fix responsibilities for the payment of service charges thereon.
Section III
A permit and inspection fee of $15.00 each will be charged to all future water and sewer users tapping into Town water and sewer mains. A cost of $150.00 be charged for a 3/4-inch tap and $200.00 for a 1-inch tap and $75.00 for tapping sewer mains. The Town to pay for and install copper pipe, fittings and a property stop to the property line of applicant. Permits I will be applied for from the Town Clerk and fees will be paid to same.
Section IV
This Ordinance shall be in force and effective Thirty (30) days from and after the first day of publication.

Amendment
An Amendment to Section III of Ordinance Number 134 concerning permit and inspection fees for future water and sewer users tapping into Town water and sewer mains.
Now, therefore, be it ordained by the board of trustees of the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado that;
Section III
A permit and inspection fee of $15.00 each will be charged to all future water and sewer users tapping into Town water and sewer mains. A fee of $300.00 to be charged for a 3/4-inch water tap, $350.00 for a 1-inch water tap, $600.00 for a 2-inch water tap and $150.00 for tapping the sewer main. The Town will bring service from the main to the curb stop furnishing all materials. Permits will be applied for from the Town Clerk and fees will be paid to same.
Section IV
This ordinance shall be in force and effective thirty (30) days from and after the first day of publication.
