An Ordinance pertaining to the installation of new sewer and water mains in the corporate city limits of the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado.
Be it ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado:
Section I
All new sewer mains and water mains constructed in the corporate city limits of Deer Trail, Colorado, shall be announced by publication in the local newspaper or in as many other newspapers as deemed necessary for proper publication; and that bids for proper installation and construction shall be asked for in the same announcement.
Section II
The cost of new installation of sewer mains shall be shared according to frontage feet served and improved by installation of said sewer mains. The size of the main shall be regulated by the Board of Trustees as to what is needed for ample service to the area being served and which may be served in the future. Frontage feet shall include property on both sided of the installation adjoining the alley in which the main is installed.
Section III
The construction of all new water mains in the corporate city limits of Deer Trail, Colorado shall be announced by publication the same as sewer mains in Section II. The cost of proper installation and construction of water mains shall be shared according to frontage feet served and improved by said installation. The cost sharing of crossing streets and intersections shall be decided according to the frontage feet served and improved by the street in which the main is installed. The cost of installing fire plugs and min shut offs at intersections shall be paid for by the Town of Deer Trail. The size of the main to be installed shall be regulated by the Board of Trustees as to what is needed for ample service to the area being served and which may be served in the future.
Section IV
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section V
It being deemed by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail that an emergency exits, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its Passage and approval.
