Call to Order

The Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail met in a regular session on Tuesday May 10th, 2022, at the Town Hall, 555 Second Ave Deer Trail, Colorado. Mayor Behrens called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Approval of the Agenda

Trustee Behrens moved; Trustee Hendricks seconded the motion to approve the agenda, with the following changes: Add item I; 7th and Birch. Add item J; CIRSA. Add item K; 66 liquor renewal. Add item L; A-1 chip seal. Voting went as follows.

4A. Approval of the April 12th Meeting Minutes

Trustee Kettling moved; Hendricks seconded the motion to approve the regular meeting minutes for April 12th, 2022. Voting went as follows.

9A. Town Potluck

Trustee Ramirez moved; Trustee Mounce seconded the motion to approve a $500 budget for the Town Potluck.  Voting went as follows.

9B. Girls Basketball

Trustee Hendricks moved; Trustee Ramirez seconded the motion to approve a $500 donation to the Deer Trail girls’ basketball team for basketball camp.  Voting went as follows.

9C. Resolution 22-08

Trustee Hendricks moved; Trustee LaMont seconded the motion to approve resolution 22-08 which authorizes the Towns Administrator to make expenditures of up to $2000.00 a month without board approval. Voting went as follows.

9. Public comment

Updated S. addresses was brought up. Speeding was brought up as a continued concern. Free community zoomba classes might start after the safety enclosure goes up at the Town Hall.
