1. Call to Order
The Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail met in a regular session on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Town Hall, 555 Second Ave Deer Trail, Colorado. Mayor Behrens called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Mayor Behrens asked for a motion to have the agenda approved. Trustee Buss moved; Trustee Rowley seconded the motion to approve. Voting went as follows.

4. Approval of the Minutes
A. June 11, 2024
Mayor Behrens asked for a motion to have the June 11, 2024, minutes approved. Trustee Arnold moved; Trustee Rhodes seconded the motion to approve. Voting went as follows.

B. June 25, 2024
Mayor Behrens asked for a motion to have the June 25, 2024, minutes approved. Trustee Arnold moved; Trustee Rhodes seconded the motion to approve. Voting went as follows.

Trustee Buss moved the bills to be approved. Trustee Rowley seconded the motion to approve. Voting went as follows.

Tod Phinney did not attend the meeting. Trustee Rhodes made a motion to remove this item from the agenda. Trustee Arnold seconded the motion. Voting went as follows.

B. Sewer Rates
Trustee Buss made a motion to cap monthly sewer rates at $40.00 effective the next billing cycle for four months. Following additional discussion, Trustee Buss made a Friendly Amendment to the motion to change the amount to $35.00 a month, for four billing cycles. Trustee Arnold seconded the motion. Voting went as follows.

C. Planning Commission
Trustee Buss made a motion to approve the following nominees to serve on the committee: Judd Behrens, Ashley Buss, Richard Loveless, Patrick Duff, John Kettling, & Spencer Bell. Trustee Rowley seconded the motion. Voting went as follows.

E. Employee Benefits
Trustee Buss made the motion to provide a stipend of an extra $300.00 per paycheck in place of providing health insurance for employees who can provide proof of health insurance coverage equal to or exceeding what the Town currently offers to employees. Trustee Arnold seconded the motion. Voting went as follows.
