Call to Order
The Board of Trustees of the Town of Deer Trail met in a special session on Friday August 26th, 2022, at the Town Hall, SSS Second Ave Deer Trail, Colorado. Mayor Behrens called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Mayor: Judd Behrens
Trustees Present: Josh Hendricks, Heather Kerin, John Kettling, Gerry LaMont, Byron Mounce
Staff Present: Debbie Cowell Town Admin, Ali Eldringhoff Town Clerk
Approval of the Agenda
Trustee Mounce moved; Trustee Hendricks seconded the motion to approve the agenda. Voting went as follows.
Yes: Hendricks, Kerin, Kettling, LaMont, Mounce, Behrens
No: None
Abstain: None
Absent: Ramirez
The mayor declared the motion carried.
4A. Discussion
Code Enforcement Susie expressed concern about the meeting being held in executive session. Her reasoning was that executive session can only be held with an employee present if it is to discuss a contract change or change in payment amount. After some thought Mayor Behrens agreed to move forward with a non-executive session seeing as there was no one from the public present. This session was done in discussion format meaning there was nothing on the floor to vote upon. Discussion started at 7:10 PM and closed at 8:54PM
Mayor Behrens Adjourned the meeting at 8:54 p.m.
